Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m the face behind Rooted in Wander.
Upon starting this blog, I wanted an outlet to write other than my journal. I had no expectations and knew that the only people reading my posts were my parents (shoutout to mom and pops). I shared my experiences of falling off of a treadmill and my study abroad trip, hilarity ensued and I felt a desire to share more. I’ve learned over the years that sharing pieces of your heart and life with the internet is a scary, yet fulfilling journey.
Growing up I always knew that I wanted to be a story teller. Weather it was fiction, non-fiction, film, or art, my creativity needed to be let free. I have an innate desire to explore the world and express a lifestyle of freedom and positivity. As my passion grew, so did the number of people reading my stories and thus Rooted in Wander was born (mom and pops are still number one fans).
I am a firm believer in travel, spirituality, wellness, individuality, and funky creations, all while having a sense of humor at the mess life throws at you. It’s never easy, but I’m here to relate and share the mistakes I’ve made along the way.
